• The Holy Spirit is integral to the Christian life. Indeed, without the Holy Spirit it is difficult to see how there could be either a Church or Christian life. Yet our attempts to think about the Holy Spirit seem so tentative and elusive.
• Often we experience tensions between charism and Institution, law and freedom, the secular and the sacred. Is there a way of understanding the Holy Spirit which does not provoke irresolvable and arid tensions - and yet recognises the need that all aspects of Christian life have of the Holy Spirit?
• This study day will look at several theologies of the Spirit, and explore how useful they are to us in our lives and ministry.
