•           An introduction to the Guidelines for the Christian Initiation for Children of Catechetical Age (CICCA) - exploring how we can follow the vision and the spirit of the rite in varying pastoral situations for children between the ages of 7 and 14.

•           An examination of the opportunities and challenges in cultural diversity and in age-appropriate catechesis - addressing the need both for structure and flexibility.

•           How do we choose, train and resource catechists?  What is the role of the parents of the young people who present themselves for sacramental preparation - and how can we best engage parents and families in catechesis?
