| The Inter-Agency Committee was formed in 1998 and meets twice a
year at Archbishop’s House. It is very much a co-ordinating
body of all those agencies in the Diocese with a hand in formation,
and a place for the sharing of ideas and plans. There is a focus particularly
on how these agencies can be of service to priests.
With the existence of so many agencies, there can be a danger of
overlap or omission, and the Committee exists to ensure that the
agencies, in any provision for priests, complement rather than compete
- co-ordinate rather than duplicate.
The Inter-Agency Committee is chaired by the Director of On-Going Formation and comprises representatives
from the following agencies:
Aylesford Centre for
Spiritual and Personal Development
Christian Education
Centre (CEC)
Franciscan International
Study Centre (FISC)
Hospital Chaplains
Liturgy Commission
Marriage Tribunal
Permanent Diaconate
School/College Chaplains
Schools & Colleges
Commission
Seminary
